"These were I think your last batch of the Twenty series which have replaced some TB2+’S which had the studio vinyl covering, as opposed to these in the Piano Black which look absolutely gorgeous. Sound wise, the TB2+’s weren’t bad coming through a Naim UnitiQute 2 (they’re in a kitchen/diner), but these straight out of the box sound much more refined, detailed and just better. I’m well chuffed, keep up the good work!"

"I discovered PMC when making a mastering at Electric City (Brussels). This was incredible! Each doubt I had while recording and mixing vanished easily. Every details were clearly there in front of me. You don't need to have big ears for making wonderful mixes. You just need to have a true monitoring system. I'm a sound engineer and like most sound engineers, I'm not rich. Until recently, I was listening to narrow sounds on JBL L46 via a Realistic amp and a Denon CD player or an Onkyo turntable. I do not record any more music. So I sold a few microphones and I bought the PMC Twenty 22 with a Rega. It's like opening a valve. Until then, a little trickle of water flowed in my head. Now I'm under a shower. What's good!"

"De momento estoy muy contento con ellos, en general se defienden muy bien con todo tipo de música de la que le he puesto claro, pop, rock, flamenco, techno, house... y se notan más los detalles a un volumen un poco más alto, pero claro está, no siempre se puede tener el volumen alto. Me los compré por capricho, para sustituir a unos Mordaunt-short Mezzo 2, que sonaban divinos para mi gusto claro, pero lógicamente el precio de los twenty se percibe en la calidad de sonido y de materiales en su construcción. "The twenty.22 (powered by my Classe amplifier) is a very clear and present musicmaker. Coming from large traditional floorstanders (transmission line) it takes a little time to get use to the less present lower frequenties. "I have upgraded from the DB1is to the Twenty 22s. I was going to purchase the 21s but after much consideration I opted for the 22s. I have a small room and the roof slopes down at quite an angle. I was worried in case the 22s may be to big and the bass might be boomy, but after researching on positioning I decided to go for the 22s. They sound amazing. I have experimented with the positioning and after consulting the tips from the manual I have toed in the speakers which enhanced the stereo image and detail. I can't see me upgrading these beauties. I am revisiting my music collection to hear things I have never heard before."
