Tony Maserati with his PMCs

Tony Maserati, record producer and legendary engineer for, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Marc Anthony, Black Eyed Peas, James Brown, Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Usher, R. Kelly, Jason Mraz, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Mya, Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy, Jessica Simpson, Tupac, and many more, has been relishing the use of PMC’s BB5-XBD-Active monitors

Tony was introduced to PMC Ronald “Spider” Entwistle, while both had been working on Robbie Robertson’s new album, ‘How to Become Clairvoyant’. Robbie, a long time PMC user, asked PMC to provide the large scale PMC system for his CD launch in the renowned Village Studios in Santa Monica. Both Tony and Spider were so impressed by the level of resolution, they requested a demo of the system to be installed in Tony’s studio at RMC in Burbank.

Maurice Patist of PMC USA delivered and installed the system in May 2011, as Tony was about to start mixing tracks for Lady Gaga’s (now multiple Grammy nominated) album “Born this way”.  Tony was immediately impressed and comfortable with the speakers and commented; “They are by far the best sounding and most flexible large monitors I have ever heard in the studio"

During the listening sessions, the entire production team became very impressed with the quality of the system.  "The BB5s are great client pleasers and the added benefit is I can actually mix on them!”

Since then Tony has been working on several projects and is currently putting the final touches on the mixes for Jason Mraz’s soon to be released new album.
