Strictly Come Dancing final mixed using PMC loudspeakers

With well over 12 million people watching it on Saturday night, the Strictly Come Dancing final was the TV event of the weekend and PMC loudspeakers had a very important part to play in the live broadcast. 

Our friends at Red TX, the leading broadcast sound recording specialists for film and television, were appointed to oversee the 5.1 channel sound mix for the event. Broadcast live from the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom and shown in 3D for the first time on the BBC HD channel and at selected cinemas across the country, the sound mix was monitored using a mixture of PMC AML1s and MB2 active speakers.
