Saving Denmark Street

As we are keen to preserve Britain’s musical heritage with our support of the Save Denmark Street Campaign, we thought all the Madness fans would want to know all about this very special one-off collector’s item.

Madness: Divine Madness acetate – signed by Suggs and Clive Langer

The 1992 Madness double album ‘Divine Madness’ acetate, comprising of four pristine 12 inch acetates have never been played. Each acetate is single sided so in effect the double album appears on four single sided 12 inch discs. The labels on all four discs are that of the studios 'The Town House Studios' in Shepherd’s Bush, London where this 'Best of Madness' album 'The Lot' was mastered.  Another major studio that regarded PMC as their reference!

The white original cardboard sleeve for discs 1 and 2 is signed by producer Clive Langer and beneath that also signed by Suggs, with the words "All the best from the man they call Suggs".

Madness and Bowie producer-musician Clive Langer kindly donated several rare acetates to be auctioned off on eBay, in support of the campaign documentary film, 'Tin Pan Alley Tales' made by the crew behind The Save Denmark Street Campaign.
