PMC sponsored Ferrari racing at Silverstone

PMC loudspeakers is proud to announce its sponsorship of Burgo Racing’s Ferrari 328GTB which will be racing in the Classic Sports Car Club event at Silverstone on 26 May.

The recently restored and pristine car is owned and driven by Burgo Wharton and co-driven by James Levy, an experienced driver of many races in different classes in the UK and abroad. Having recently competed at Brands Hatch in the Pirelli Ferrari Classic, the car now heads up the M1 to take place in the harder and faster race of the Classic Sports Car Club event.

Emblazoned with prominent PMC logos on either side, the classic red 328GTB is bound to stand out from the crowd, as it is the only Ferrari entered in the race and will be up against a host of Porsches and other performance cars.

Both Burgo and James are huge music fans and approached PMC as their loudspeaker manufacturer of choice to enquire about sponsorship for the car. PMC was only too happy to help, as there is a real synergy between the high performance nature of a Ferrari, with the care and attention to detail that is required to race such a machine, and the no compromise approach to loudspeaker design and music reproduction that personifies PMC.

Qualifying takes place during the morning of Saturday 26 May, with racing commencing at 12 noon. The event is open to anyone who wishes to attend, for a nominal entrance fee of just £9 payable on the gate, and for petrol heads is a real treat as there is full access to the pits, garages and drivers.

PMC would like to wish Burgo and James well in the race and will be present to cheer them on and hopefully see the PMC logo crossing the finish line in first place!
