PMC lounges around at new Bedfordshire retailer
PMC loudspeakers is pleased to announce that the new Bedfordshire business HiFi Lounge has been appointed as its latest retailer, to enhance the listening pleasure of the region’s music lovers by giving them access to entire PMC hi-fi range and Bryston electronics.
Based in Millow, near the village of Dunton, in rural Bedfordshire and just 3 minutes off the A1, HiFi Lounge is easily accessible, and its eco-friendly converted granary barn premises, with ample free parking, provides the perfect location for visitors to stay as long as necessary to experience the range of products on offer.
Run by husband and wife team Paul and Wendy Clark, HiFi Lounge is concentrating on selling only products that the owners of the business are passionate about themselves – ones that they know and trust. Paul has been a long time advocate of PMC and Bryston products since first hearing the OB1is while working at another hi-fi retailer. His first PMC purchase was a pair of EB1is together with a Bryston BCD-1 CD player and since then his system has expanded to include MB2is, CB6i, TLE1 and OB1is, partnered with Bryston’s SP3, 7BSST2, BCD-1, BDA-1 and BDP-1. So when it came to choosing which quality loudspeaker and electronics brands to stock there really was no choice.
HiFi Lounge opened its doors to the local music lovers on Monday 24th September, with invitations also going out shortly for an open-weekend event planned for 27th and 28th October, about which customers can find more details on HiFi Lounge’s website at www.hifilounge.co.uk
Tom Barron, PMC sales manager said, “I have known Paul for many years while he was employed at other hi-fi retailers. Watching how he worked to introduce and promote the PMC brand in his last position left me in no doubt that his solo venture with HiFi Lounge was going to be an important place for PMC and Bryston products.”
Commenting on the opening of his business, Paul Clark said, “As a enthusiastic hi-fi shop staff member I sadly couldn’t afford the PMC OB1is that I wanted to buy and always felt I’d had to settle for second best with the other brands I purchased. When eventually I was able to buy my first pair of PMCs I was instantly hooked and now, paired with Bryston electronics, my system is complete with a full PMC 5.1 set up and I couldn’t be happier. So when I came to fulfilling my dream of opening my own hi-fi business there was never any doubt as to which speakers and electronics I would be stocking. It’s fair to say that it is my first impression of those OB1is all those years ago that has led me to the position where HiFi Lounge is about to open. So it just goes to show that PMC speakers really can change people’s lives!”
HiFi Lounge will be demonstrating much of the PMC range, from the diminutive new twenty.21s through to the MB2is, as used in many professional recording studios.
