PMC joins forces with Bryston for a High End Show presentation featuring the flagship BB5-XBD loudspeakers

 PMC, in a joint presentation with Canadian electronics manufacturer, Bryston, is to showcase its flagship BB5-XBD active speakers in the ultimate 5.0 surround system at this year’s High End Show, Munich from 19-22 May. The BB5, which is used by many of the world’s leading recording studios as the reference monitor system, features a 450mm RadialTM bass driver, partnered with PMC’s legendary 75mm dome midrange for absolute clarity and accuracy in the midrange and its high performance 34mm tweeter. Presented at Munich in its domestic Graphite Poplar finish, the BB5 is augmented by the XBD, with a further 450mm Radial driver in a separate enclosure, which provides bass extension and presence that is unsurpassed. The combination of the two cabinets making the BB5-XBD, for the front left and right channels, negates the requirement for a separate subwoofer. Centre channel duties will be handled by a singe BB5, and the rear channels by a pair of MB2-XBD loudspeakers, powered by a Bryston 28BSST2 stereo amplifier.Partners in room F208 will be Bryston and AViTech GmbH, the distributor of both PMC and Bryston in the Austrian and South East European markets. In addition to providing the high definition BDP-1 digital music player, BCD-1 CD player, BDA-1 DAC and amplification, Bryston will also be using the show to introduce its new state of the art SP3 surround processor. PMC’s fact® range will also be on display with the company’s German distributor, Padis, in room F123.Clients will be able to meet with PMC, Bryston and AViTech staff and relax next door in room F209, where gourmet barista made coffee will be available and the fact range will be on demonstration.The PMC, Bryston and AViTech demonstration can be found on the second floor of Atrium 4 at the M.O.C. from 19-22 May.
