Jimi Hendrix

On November 17th and 18th at Metropolis Studios in London, the world famous rock producer Eddie Kramer is presenting a talk about his career and long-time association with Jimi Hendrix and PMC is providing the speakers to make this Jimi Hendrix night a real Experience!

To coincide with the release of the new Blu-ray and DVD of Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Train a-Comin and the new live album, Jimi Hendrix at Miami Pop, Kramer will be presenting a unique insight into the music of Hendrix. Original master tapes will be used to deconstruct the legendary guitarists music track by track so the audience can understand the detail that went into making his recordings.

To facilitate this dissection and piecing back together of Hendrix’s music, PMC is providing an ultra-high resolution 5.1 system for the event which takes place in Metropolis Studio A. The flagship BB5 XBD-A will take on left and right channel duties, with the ever-so-slightly smaller MB2 as a centre channel and IB2s for the rear channels.

Presented as part of The Guardian newspaper’s guardianmasterclass series, this event is sure to attract a large amount of interest from the fans of this seminal guitarist. PMC is proud to be providing the world’s leading studio monitor speakers in order to make the detailed analysis of the music possible.
