Kuljit Bhamra endorses PMC speakers on recording of new Asian talent 


 Influential, award-winning British Asian musician, composer and producer Kuljit Bhamra MBE has just completed work on Heartfelt, the new record from young Asian singer Shahid Abbas Khan. The recording was mixed entirely on PMC’s TB2SA mk2 monitors at Red Fort Studios, London.PMC endorsee, Kuljit Bhamra, on first hearing the TB2SAs, commented that he was “immediately astounded by the clarity at both the top end and lower mid-range.” He added: “I can see myself falling in love them very soon!”The album’s launch coincides with the new series, Goldie’s Band – By Royal Appointment, currently airing on BBC Two on Saturday at 9pm in which Shahid is featured.The new documentary follows electronic music artist and DJ Goldie on a mission to discover young people whose talent and passion for music is at the centre of their lives. After a personal nationwide search, 12 young musicians have been invited to a three-day residential where they are mentored by a team of industry experts including composer Guy Chambers, jazz artist Soweto Kinch and singer/songwriter Cerys Matthews. After undergoing intense training the group, aged between 17 and 24, are attempting to stage a thrilling concert for an audience of special guests, including Prince Harry, at Buckingham Palace. The nature of the set and the individual contributions of the musicians to the concert are in the process of being determined during their time at two residencies.
