Get ‘Naked’ with Eleanor McEvoy

At 12 noon on Saturday 27th February, PMC will bring the studio experience alive in their demonstration room (SS Great Britain 2 & 3) by introducing Mick O’Gorman, producer for Eleanor McEvoy and long term PMC user, who will provide an insight into the production of Eleanor’s latest album, Naked Music.

As always the musical content, production values and sound quality are outstanding. Mick will reveal how the digital and stunning vinyl versions were created, unearthing the myths and secrets of the art of mastering and the vinyl process. Providing the playback will be the stunning PMC BB5 SE loudspeakers, the renowned Bryston BDP-2 digital player and the UK debut of the Bryston BDA-3 DAC. The vinyl will be played on the the Vertere RG-1 Record Player.

Using PMC’s Advanced Transmission Line design for unrivalled low frequency performance and full-range clarity, the BB5 SE maintains the internationally acclaimed reputation for transparency and musicality. Developed from the world’s reference mastering loudspeakers, used for the majority of Eleanor’s music creation, the BB5, featuring the famous 15” Radial™ bass unit, the hand-built soft dome midrange and high frequency unit, is a master of precision and subtlety that will reveal more of the music than any other passive system can.

For an opportunity to experience exactly how the album sounded at the point of creation, as well as the chance to win an exclusive signed copy of the vinyl, this is a demonstration that show goers will not want to miss. Seats will be limited, arrive early.
